Our Jack Russell, Trout, has teamed up with his young owner to create some wonderful books introducing his readers to the natural world.  In "The River", Trout leads his readers on a walk to the River, telling about the animals that live there and how to spot them. In "The Seashore", Trout takes us to the beach, where we discover animals and the signs they leave.
